Revelation of Jesus by Jesus

In Revelation, 1:1-3, the Bible says ”The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” In verse 3, Christ reiterates: “Blessed is he that readeth and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” The time of hoping is over. The time of blessing is at hand. It is a season of delight. It is a season of breakthrough. It is a season of new life. It is a season when you will see evidently that your conscious and unconscious curses are broken because the power of their influence is broken.

We as the people of God are a blessed people. The word blessed means to be enabled, to be empowered to prosper. The word cursed means to be disabled, to be caused to be unable to progress.

“Blessed is he that hears this prophecy.” What is the prophecy? Prophecy means proclamation of the reality of Jesus.

Revelation 1:8 says, “I am Alpha and Omega.” The word Alpha means the beginning, it means He began us. Jesus is speaking now: “I am.”

It is an introduction of Jesus Christ by Jesus Christ Himself. It means He began us. Jesus is the Almighty. He began our lives, He will finish our lives in eternity. He is the one who is in our lives, He is the one who was in our lives, and the one who is to come in our lives. He has the ability to be in our past, in our present, and in our future because he is the Alpha and Omega and the one who is, who was, and is to come.

There is no vacancy for any other entity. In Revelation 1: 11 he says “I am Alpha and Omega” again. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. May your glory glow in Jesus’ name. The Bible says “and His ministers were like a flame of fire”. When we are truly in Christ, when He is in us, those eyes that shine like a flame of fire that is in Him shine through us. Through those eyes, He greets the world that we walk in. Through those eyes he says, “This one is my own.”

If you are your father’s child you will resemble your father. One feature of our Father that should be evident in us is His glory glow in our eyes. In this season of blessings, I decree that His glory glow through us in Jesus’ name. When your eyes are on fire with the glory glow, you do not need to debate with the dark world. When light comes, darkness disappears. May our light come back on, in Jesus’ name. The Bible says “…His eyes were as a flame of fire, and His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace,” verse 15. Not only will your eyes glow, wherever the soles of your feet touch, you will feel the power of God. When we are blessed and enabled to be like the Father, our voice sounds different because we speak by His spirit and our tone is gentler. We affirm that the curse is broken and the season of irreversible blessings has come through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer points:

Revelation 1:16 – 18 reads “And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength: And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead: and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” Blessed be the Word of the Lord.

Dear Lord, may we get a true revelation of who you are. We ask for the blessing of being more and more like you in thought, word, and deed. May our eyes glow with your glory, our feet be shod with your gospel of Peace, and may we bear fruit for you and be blessed by you O living God.
