Praise Him Forever

Scripture Reading: Revelation 5:4–5
“And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.”

Praise Him Forever

Father God we thank you for the grace to hold on to our praise of you. Father we thank you because you are the one who carries us through trials and gives us the testimony that causes us to say we have never lost our praise.

To everyone going through a test right now, I pray that the test will become a testimony. I encourage you not to lose your praise, for everything is changing. The only one who is constant is the Lord Jesus Christ for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is the Ancient of Days and He has never changed. He is the unquestionable God and no one can question Him. We give Him glory, we give Him honour, and we adore Him. We thank Him for all He has brought us through. We thank Him for the grace to prevail in praise.

Let us look at Revelation 5 in its entirety: “And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by the blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And has made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.”

Prayer Points:

Jesus is worthy of our continuous worship for He is our Saviour.

When you look at that scripture, you see the condition of man in the world. No man was found worthy to approach God and to open the sealed book except the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. He opened the book and redeemed us from sure and certain condemnation. If He is your redeemer, do not lose your praise. If He is your redeemer, if you connect to Him as Saviour, you are not a Christian because you qualify, you are a Christian because you are redeemed. You are a Christian because He salvaged you, because He has poured into your life the grace and the qualities, attributes, and all that is attainable by His atonement. That is what makes us stand. I pray that you will never lose your praise, that you will continue to praise Him, that you will worship His Majesty in spirit and in truth in Jesus’ name. Amen.
