My Redeemer Is Strong
Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 50:33–39
“Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon,” Jeremiah 50:34.
My Redeemer Is Strong
Father God Almighty, we thank you because you are our Redeemer and you are strong. Show yourself strong to those whose hearts are set to seek you, to those who are in that place where they say, “Lord, turn my mourning into dancing.”
Jeremiah 50:33 says, “Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: and all that took them captives, held them fast; they refused to let them go.” The children of Israel were held captive and their captors refused to let them go. Are you being held captive? Read the Word of the Lord and He will give you your deliverance from bondage and oppression. If you are a child of God, you will be set free in the name of Jesus because your Redeemer is strong.
Your Redeemer is strong and the Lord of hosts is His name; therefore no host shall gather against Him successfully. He shall truly plead your cause. When God is your lawyer, He will plead your cause and bring about a victory that will amaze your enemies and cause them to clap for your victory. Father God, I pray for that one who is oppressed. Father God, our strong Redeemer, look into the lives of everyone reading this message and in the name of Jesus, with your strong hand redeem us from every oppressor, from every tie, whether it be strong or weak. When God stands for you no one can stand against you. He will plead your cause and bring a breakthrough. “He shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon,” Jeremiah 50:34.
God will fight for you. “A sword is upon the Chaldeans, saith the Lord, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men,” verse 35. Everyone in the enemy’s camp has a sword upon them right now in the name of Jesus. The sword of the living God, which is sharper than any two-edged sword, is cutting them to pieces now. The sword is the Word of God and it says your Redeemer is strong. That sword is cutting down those who have been lying against you. “A sword is upon the liars; and they shall dote: a sword is upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed. A sword is upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword is upon her treasures: and they shall be robbed. A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up,” verses 36–39. That which is nourishing them shall be dried up in Jesus’ name. Father God Almighty, I pray that your intervention will manifest in the challenges oppressing your children.
Father, fight against what is fighting against us. Do what only you can do, O living God: fight against every oppressor in the name of Jesus. Redeem us and show yourself strong; do it and take all the glory in Jesus’ name.
Prayer Points:
Father, I thank you for I see your redeeming hand working in the lives of your children now. I thank you because that redemption is perpetual, permanent, and progressive. Father, you are our strong Redeemer; redeem us today in Jesus’ name. You are the Lord of hosts, O Lord; fight against every host gathered against us in Jesus’ name. You are the sword, the custodian of the sword, and the sword itself, because you are the Word of God. Use your sword to cut everything working against progress and your vision for your children.
Beloved, enable God to fight for you. The first step is to give your life to Jesus. If you have never given your life to Jesus, pray with me, “Dear Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you. Write my name in the book of life and give me the born- again experience. Come and show yourself strong in the battles of my life.”
Pray it, believe it, and He will do it. He is ready to show himself strong for you in every area in the name of Jesus.
