Hidden Blessings
Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 2:31
“And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land,” Deuteronomy 2:31.
Hidden Blessings
Dear Lord, reveal our hidden blessings to us by your Spirit, the things that pertain to us that our eyes have not seen yet, that our ears have not heard yet, and has not entered into our hearts.
You have instructed us in Deuteronomy 2:31 to begin to possess, because you have begun to give. We are praying about hidden blessings, those that are just out of our reach. Father God, we pray that these blessings transcend the spiritual realm and become reality. Father, I pray that you destroy every hindrance that is preventing us from possessing what you have given.
The difference between giving and possessing is similar to writing a check. The receiver has to cash the check in order to receive the funds. There are many who sit with an uncashed check written by the Lord God Almighty. God said to the children of Israel, I have given you all this land, now take physical occupation of what I have given you; possess it. I pray that the living God will take down that which is hindering us from seeing what is ours. The veil that hides the immense blessings from us is sin and doubt. There are blessings in obeying the commandments of God that are hidden from the disobedient. I pray that the veil of sin be removed from our spiritual eyes that we will see the land which represents the life that God has prepared for us to possess.
What is the nature of the blessing that the Lord has given us to possess? He assures us in Deuteronomy 11: 24 that every place where the soles of our feet tread shall be ours. He assures us that no man will be able to stand before us; for the Lord shall lay the fear and dread of us on all the land that we shall tread upon. We read that it is a land that flows with milk and honey. It is a land of hills and valleys and drinks water of the rain of heaven. It a land which the Lord our God cares for and His eyes are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year. We are assured that our days and the days of our children will be multiplied in the land the Lord promised to give us and it will be as the days of heaven on earth.

Our Father and our God, please help us possess all that you have given us. Expose our hidden blessings and grant us the zeal that will enable us to appreciate and apprehend the life and provisions you have designed for our lives. May we live in the land that you have given us and experience days of heaven on earth, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
