Great Gratitude

Scripture Reading: Psalm 65
“Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed,” Psalm 65:1.

Great Gratitude

I testify that there is no God like Jehovah. He is so good, so great, and so gracious. Praise waiteth for thee, O Lord.

God is waiting for our praise, “O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away,” Psalm 65:2–3. I thank Him for causing me to approach Him, for giving me the grace to dwell in His court, for giving me the satisfaction of the goodness of His house, even His holy temple. I thank the God of my salvation for being my confidence, for He girds the mountains with strength even as He stills the tumult of the people. Father, I thank you that you cause the morning and evening to rejoice and you water the earth; you enrich it with the river of your living water. I thank you, Father, for providing sustenance on this earth, that you cause all things to grow as you shower the ridges, furrows, hills, and valleys with your abundance. Father, you crown the year with your goodness: your fullness drops upon the pastures, and the little hills rejoice on every side; your pastures are clothed with flocks; and the valleys are covered with corn. We shout for joy and we also sing. O Father God, give us the grace to make a joyful noise unto you. Our God deserves all the praise, the priviledge, and the blessing for us to sing forth His name and make His praise glorious.

Today, my heart is full of gratitude to God for His great faithfulness, compassion, and steadfast love that never ceases; His steadfast love that is new every morning. Has God started a new thing in your life? Faithful is He that has called you and He will carry you through. I thank God for His blessings and mercies. Lord, you are able to bless and you have blessed; you are able to open heavens and you have opened. You make a way where there is no way, and open doors that no one can shut, and lift up what no one can bring down.

Father God Almighty, I pray that you give us a sense of gratitude to you for who are we that we should take your Word and share it with your people? Lord, it is by your mercies, by your grace, that you make the useless useful; you raise up those who have been downtrodden and rejected by men. Lord, we acknowledge your faithfulness through the ages.

May God lift you up and show you His faithfulness. May God anoint you with the oil of gladness. May God make a way for you where there seems to be no way. May God open His hand upon your life. Praise waiteth for God. Praise belongs to Him for He has blessed beyond our expectations in many areas, and we owe Him great gratitude.

Prayer Points:

Is there anyone reading this today who would like to experience the faithfulness of God? Accept Jesus and in His faithfulness He will bless you more than you can comprehend. If you have not yet given your life to Him, pray with me now, “Dear Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Saviour. Come into my life, change my life, upgrade my life. Bless me with salvation and with the priviledge of ministering your Word, in Jesus’ name.” Amen.
