God of Recompense
Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 51:56; Isaiah 49 and 59
“Because the spoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the Lord God of recompenses shall surely requite,” Jeremiah 51:56.
God of Recompense
Isaiah 59 says, “And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak. According to their deeds, accordingly will he repay, fury to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands will he repay recompense. So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord. As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My Spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever,” Isaiah 59:14–21.
God is ready for action against that which has been holding you down and fighting against your destiny. Your time of deliverance, breakthrough, and blessing has come. Are you ready to do warfare with the promises that God has released to you? I pray that you believe His Word and His promises. If you are ready to be delivered, pray, Lord God Almighty, let miraculous actions that surpass explanation manifest in my life. Arise in every circumstance pending in my life for action. I position myself for your fire of divine intervention against my oppressors. Work in my life, O Lord God, by signs and wonders. Resources of heaven, locate and promote me in the name of Jesus; locate and eliminate my enemies. Lord God of Elijah, let the roots of hardship, hindrances, and delays disappear from my life in the name of Jesus. By the power that collapsed the walls of Jericho, let my problems disintegrate in the name of Jesus. Let the power of God manifest to demonstrate that God is God over every challenge and the earth is His.
God is ready to recompense. Agree with God’s Word and He will answer amen, that your deliverance will be complete, your deliverance will be perfect, and it will bring about a commotion in the camp of the enemy that will make them know that the Lord God is God alone. Glory be to the living God forever in the name of Jesus.

If you have never given your life to Jesus, pray with me now, “Dear Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Saviour. Write my name in the book of life and bless me indeed. Deliver me from my oppressors. O God of recompense, recompense for your people in every way they have been short-changed in Jesus’ name.”
