Open Heavens for Healing
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 64:1–4
“Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,” Isaiah 64:1.
Open Heavens for Healing
In Isaiah 64:1, we hear a cry demanding that the heavens would open, that God would come down into a situation. Are you in a difficult place today? If you want to emerge from your difficult time, to dominate your situation, to lead the challenge you face rather than be oppressed by it, then it is time to cry out to God. I assure you that when you call on God to open the heavens and God comes down to that challenge, all mountains before you will flow down at His Presence.
One dimension of open heavens is the presence of God coming directly from heaven to earth to focus on your situation. Pray now that the Lord will rend the heavens and come down, that your mountain might flow down at God’s presence. Do you have a mountain of death, sickness, confusion, misunderstanding, attack in the family, or attack in your marriage? Pray now that the Lord will come and melt the mountain in the presence of God as He enters your situation.
Your challenge may fall into one of these dimensions: things are changing for the worse; hostility, loss, and longing are prevalent; or there is a need. Let God into the situation. Invite the God factor into your situation and you will triumph over it. God has the ability to melt your challenge. He says “As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence,” Isaiah 64:2. Let the challenges confronting you tremble at the presence of God. Invite God into your situation and He will do a new thing, for that is His nature. He has capabilities beyond your comprehension.
I stated earlier that as an effective leader, you must possess your prepared place. Isaiah 64:4 says, “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, not perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.” Wouldn’t it be wonderful for God to do something for you that men have never heard of? If your situation demands something new, He will do something new. I encourage you to prepare yourself to perceive and to receive the things that the good Lord has prepared for you that eyes have not seen, that ears have not heard.
Father God, we come before you today appealing to you because you are the only one who can help in the healing needs and all other situations confronting your children. Father, today your children who have leadership genes but who are sick to the bone call on you, like Isaiah. Lord, rend the heavens and come down and cause the mountain of sickness to tremble in your Presence. O living God, cause all overwhelming mountains to melt with the fire of your Presence.
Lord God, I pray for a transfusion of the blood of Jesus. If you need healing, invite the Lord in. Say, Lord God Almighty, I invite you into this situation. Rend the heavens and come down. Let the mountains of my sickness (call your sickness by its name) receive divine healing right now. When you have cancer, they treat you in the hospital with chemotherapy: the fire of men. Today, I call on the treating fire of God, divine chemotherapy to penetrate the children of the living God who are meant to emerge as leaders, that they will be healed of their sicknesses and the healing will never be cancelled or nullified. Father, when you do a work it remains forever. Father, heal your children, I pray, from every mountain of sickness. Today, in the name of Jesus, I decree spiritual, physical, financial, emotional, and mental healing. O Father, heal your people in the name of Jesus.
Prayer Points:
Father, your Word has said clearly that eyes have not seen, nor have ears heard all you can do. O God, you know what you can do and what you have prepared for your people. Let them begin to receive what you have released. Let there be a divine release in the name of Jesus of all the things the Good Lord has prepared for you. If you are waiting on God to do this miracle for you, call on God from your heart. Open your mouth and say, “Lord, O that you would rend the heavens, that you would come down, that the mountains might flow down at your Presence. Let every mountain, every challenge melt at the presence of God in Jesus’ name.”
God will do this for you and you will be blessed physically, emotionally, financially, relationally, professionally, and in every realm if you belong to Him. If you are not born again, pray with me now, “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you. Write my name in the book of life in Jesus’ name.” Amen.
