Faithful or Fearful
Scripture Reading: Revelation 21:1–8
“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God,” Revelation 21:3.
Faithful or Fearful
Father God, I thank you for you alone can set before your own an open door that no man can shut. Lord, I give you glory because your Word is settled and I thank you because you do just what you say. I pray Lord God that in this season we will experience better things as you set before us an open door that no man can ever shut.
The Word of God is clear. The great voice from heaven declares that the tabernacle of God is with men and He will dwell with them and they shall be His people and God Himself shall be their God. This is God’s persuasion, God’s design; these are the things that accompany salvation. When you are born again, filled with the Spirit of God because you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, you have developed a personal relationship with Him, and His Spirit has come to dwell with you, and God Himself will make you His tabernacle. You will be God’s own and God Himself will be with you. When that happens, “…God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away,” Revelation 21:4. God shall take away the former things from your life. “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.
And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful,” verse 5.
Salvation is real and true to the faithful. If you make God the Almighty your God, He will be your reward. He will dwell in you and wipe away your tears. God wants to wipe away all tears so that there will be no more death, sorrow, crying, depression, or pain in your life. He will make all things new for you. These are the promises: He wrote it and it is done. He says He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, and He will give all who thirst of the fountain of the water of life freely verse 6. And He causes he who overcomes the challenges of the world to get into the Word and inherit all things; and God says “… and I will be His God, and He shall be my son,” verse 7.
Revelation 21:8 says that those who are fearful, unbelieving, always doubting God’s Word and God’s work; those who are abominable; those who are murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters, and liars shall all have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Are you in the number that God will call His own or are you among those who will go to the lake of fire? I pray that God will cause you to resolve today to be on the Lord’s side; that God Himself will make you to see a new heaven and a new earth because Revelation 21:1–2 says, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Are you prepared to meet Jesus? The way to have that blessing is to surrender your life to Jesus and become a born-again Christian filled with His Spirit, not a religious Christian but a Holy Spirit filled Christian. Romans 8:14 says that for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Come into that fellowship and God will wipe all tears from your eyes. You will not experience death, sorrow, crying, or pain; the former things will pass away and God will make all things new. These words are true and faithful because it is said and done by the Alpha and the Omega. He will give to them that are thirsty for Him, the fountain of the water of life freely. Overcome the obstacles to salvation and enjoy what God has designed for you. He said in His Word that He is persuaded better things of you and the things that accompany salvation. You will become saved and you will have the ability to have all things and God will be your God and you will be His child.
Prayer Points:
Father God, I pray for those who are desirous of coming into a relationship with you. Lord your Word says that whosoever cometh to you, you will in no wise cast out. If you have not accepted the Lord as your personal Saviour, will you embrace Jesus today? Will you begin to experience the blessings and not be part of the curses in Revelation 21? If you are bound in all the bondages of being abominable, fearful, and all the others listed in Revelation 21:8, you can alter that position. It is time for better things. If you want that special relationship with the Lord pray with me, “Lord, I want a new heaven over me, a new earth, and a new life. I want a relationship with you. I am tired of unprofitable religion. I surrender my life to you Lord Jesus and accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Come into my life. Let your Holy Spirit dwell in me, let God dwell in me and be my Father.” Amen.
