Pour Out a Blessing
Scripture Reading: Malachi 3:8–12
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it,” Malachi 3:10.
Pour Out a Blessing
Father God, thank you for the dimension of open heavens. Thank you for the mountains that you have melted: the mountains of sickness, death, confusion, and mental and emotional illness that have dissolved in your Presence.
Malachi 3:8–9 says, “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.” But if we bring tithes to God He will pour out a blessing such that we would lack the room to receive it. He will also “rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of host,” verses 11– 12.
When someone is cursed with a curse it means they are disabled from progress, productivity, and from being prosperous. It means they are working but going nowhere. Are there things you should be able to do but are not able? Father, today we ask that you open heavens and break the disablement; break the curses in Jesus’ name.
How will God come down in this second dimension of open heavens? He will come down if you bring the tithes into His house. He will pour you out a blessing, an enablement, a download of progress for which you cannot take credit. You are suddenly enabled to move forward, to prosper, to think, and to build. Once you are enabled, you move to the level of abundance, which is God’s signature in provision. Man provides in a limited manner but God provides abundantly and that happens to those He can trust to tithe.
Those who argue with tithing are those who have a poverty mentality and are afraid the little money they have will be taken from them. God says in Isaiah 64:4 that there are things that your ears have not heard and your eyes have not seen that God has prepared for you. If you are so broke that you only have ten dollars, it is easier to tithe one dollar than to tithe a hundred dollars. Start now while you are at an advantage. If you cannot meet your bills with ten dollars, you will not meet them with nine, so tithe one dollar and get into a merger with abundance. Find a living church, a living ministry and tithe there. The tithe goes into God’s house, where His work is done and His people congregate. When you pay your tithe there, you have enabled God to prosper you, you have come into a merger with abundance, which will take you from level to level. God will first test us with tithing, and when we have passed the test, He will move us to the next level, to being a trustee. When you continue to tithe, someday you will become a custodian of kingdom treasures, as the Lord dispenses. Start with tithing and God will promote you ultimately to being a treasurer of Kingdom resources.
If you are not tithing, tithe now. If you are tithing, prepare yourself to be a trustee. If you have been a good trustee, pray now that the Lord will upgrade you to become a treasurer of His abundance. Some of us are still counting it so we are not there yet. May we go into the realm of abundance which can only happen through open heavens. Begin to tithe so that you can experience all the blessings of the tither and the heavens will open to pour out a blessing more than you have room enough to receive.
Prayer Points:
If you are born again, it is possible for you to work in the realm of open heavens in terms of tithing, in becoming a trustee and a treasurer. If you have never given your life to Jesus, it is a good time to pray, “Dear Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you. Write my name in the book of life. Bless me with that abundant life in Jesus’ name.” Amen.
