No Condemnation
Scripture Reading: Romans 8:31–39
“Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us,” Romans 8:34.
No Condemnation
God has brought us through many experiences and it is by His grace that we are what we are today. Let us thank Him for bringing us through all the trials that we have faced in life so far. Let us also thank Him for delivering us from everything that has oppressed, harassed, or distracted us.
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth,” Romans 8:31–33.
I want you to know today that you are greatly loved by God. You are the beloved of God if you are a born-again Christian who is filled with the Spirit and washed with the blood of Jesus. You are the beloved of God if you have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour and are walking according to His Word. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. I pray that you will be conscious of that love because it is beyond any other kind of love that you have experienced.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us,” Romans 8:35–37.
God’s love for you never changes. It is not like the love of man that could be here today and gone tomorrow. His love for you is consistent and perpetual. God says in His Word that you are to forget about every disappointment, every let-down, and all the things that you do not understand. Do not allow oppressive things to oppress you. Instead, look to the author of your faith; look up to that love that is above all loves. When you are a born-again Christian, you are filled with the Holy Spirit and are led by His Spirit. There are so many blessings available to a Spirit-led person. I pray that God will give you the grace to walk with and after the Spirit. When you walk in the Spirit, you are walking in the realm of no condemnation.
When enemies accuse you, remember the Word of God, which says that when you are in Christ Jesus, there is no condemnation.
Are you in Christ Jesus today? Are you free from the law of sin and death? Do you mind the things of the Spirit and the things of God? I pray that the Spirit of God will quicken your mortal body and lead you. I pray that you will have the Spirit of adoption and call God your Abba Father. I pray that you will be joint heirs with Christ Jesus; that the Spirit of God will help your infirmities and intercede for you with groanings too deep to utter. I pray that all things will work together for your good because you are called according to the purpose of God. God predestined you to conform to the image of His Son and because He called you, He will justify you; because He will justify you, He will glorify you. If God be for you, no one can be against you successfully.
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord,” Romans 8:38–39.
Nothing shall separate you from the love of God. You are more than a conqueror because of the love of God. This is a message of encouragement to those who are feeling forsaken or abandoned. Today, walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Today, pray that everything that is binding you and drawing you to death be condemned in the name of Jesus; that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus will set you free from the law of sin and death in the name of Jesus.
Prayer Points:
If you have never at any time given your life to Jesus, I pray that you will do so now so that the law of sin and death will not be your portion. You cannot walk in the revelation of His love unless you accept Him. Pray along with me, “Dear Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you. Give me a born-again experience, and make me a Spirit-led person.”
If you have given your life to Christ, but you are walking in condemnation and sorrow, or wondering what is happening to your life, I recommend that you read Romans 8. Encourage yourself in the Lord and remind yourself that nothing can separate you from the love of God. If your brother forsakes you, forget it; it doesn’t matter. What if your father forsakes you or your mother forsakes you? So what? The Word of God says, “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up,” Psalms 27:10.
Holy Father, I pray for the one who has never given his or her life to Jesus Christ, and for the one who knows you but is walking in condemnation. May the revelation of who you are encompass them, so that they will know the never-ending width and breadth of your love. Become Lord and Saviour today in Jesus’ name.
