Let Heaven Hear My Cry

Scripture Reading: Hosea 2:18–23
“And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the Lord, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth; And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel. And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God,” Hosea 2:21–23.

Let Heaven Hear My Cry

Father God, we thank you, we celebrate you, and we raise our hallelujah to you, Lord. We celebrate God, because He is the God of restoration. Yes Lord, we thank you because you are restoring to us the years that the locust has eaten; you are restoring our lost places, glories, and blessings.

Beloved, when God says that He will hear heaven, and the heavens will hear the earth, the earth will hear the corn, the wine and the oil, He is referring to unanswered prayers. In this day of restoration, God is saying that He will cause prayers from heaven to come up to Him; the heavens also will receive prayer from the earth. But when God is not hearing, when God closes His ears in heaven, the earth cannot even be heard by heaven. When there is a free flow between God, heaven, and earth, abundance is inevitable. When there is a blockage between earth, heaven, and God, lack and misunderstanding permeates and evil works begin to happen. When God hears the heavens, it means God is in a prayer-hearing and prayer- answering mood.

Today, I ask that the heavens hear the earth and the earth hear the corn. When heaven hears the earth, the heavens respond by sending down rain so that they can sow in the earth and there will be corn and wine and oil and they shall hear Jezreel. When the heavens do not hear earth, it means that earth will not hear from heaven; it means that rain will not fall to give us the food that we need; it means that answers to prayers cannot be downloaded to us so that we can be what we are meant to be. Today I pray that God will cause your earth to be heard by the heaven in Jesus’ name. Wherever you are on earth, may your heaven not be closed. Pray for your location now and say, “Lord God Almighty, as you promised in this passage of restoration, let heaven hear the earth where we are even as you hear the heavens where you are. Lord, open your heart to hear our prayers. Open your eyes to see our needs and answer the prayers of our environment in Jesus’ name.”

Pray that today is the day of restoration for you, for your family, for your land, for your nation, and for the world. May the rains come so that your corn will bear fruit, so that the wine of your life will have taste, so that the oil of your life will flow and give you fuel to fly at the highest level. Pray that God will cause peace to be a reality; that God will not close His ears in heaven; that God will begin to hear heaven anew; and that heaven also will begin to hear earth. Pray that God will let heaven open and let rain fall upon the land physically and spiritually. Let there be a revival.

Prayer Points:

Today, we pray that heaven will be heard by you, Lord, and that it will be heard wherever we are located, and that earth also will communicate with heaven, and that heaven will release. Yes, in essence we are praying for open heavens.

Father we pray that you will help us to recognize when your heaven is closed; when we are praying but you are not answering and there is confusion all around. I pray today that God will fulfill His Word of restoration; that today, He will hear the heavens and the heavens will hear the earth and the earth will hear the corn and the wine and the oil, and they shall hear Jezreel. May our prayers be heard today in Jesus’ name.

Amen.

Beloved, if you have never given your life to Jesus, you are not one of the people of God. The only way to become a person of God is to give your life to Jesus. To surrender your life, pray with me now, “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you. Let heaven hear my prayer today that I have surrendered my life to Jesus, so that heaven will respond by causing the showers and the rains of the abundance of the blessings of God to reach the earth of my life.” Amen.
