Be Pure

“Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil.”
Be Pure
I know that our Redeemer lives. Are you sure in your spirit man that your Redeemer lives? Because He lives, you can face today and tomorrow, since He has carried you through yesterday to today. I pray in the name of Jesus that you will make yourself ready for a visitation from God into your circumstances, into your home, into your marriage, into your ministry, and into your environment. I pray that you will make yourself pure, so that you will be ready for a visit from the Lord Jesus Christ.
“Wash me throughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin,” Psalm 51:2.
“Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump . . . ,” 1 Corinthians 5:7.
“ . . . but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:11.
“ . . . Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double- minded,” James 4:8.
“ . . . and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin,” 1 John 1:7.
“ . . . these are they which came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” Revelation 7:14.
Beloved, are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? The Lord is calling each of us to purify our heart, our environment, our soul, and our spirit. When God calls for cleansing, it is because He is about to visit. God is telling you, “I know that your environment is clean, but it could be cleaner. Make yourself ready for my arrival. Make yourself ready for me to come into your circumstances.” Beloved, do you understand the value of cleanliness, the value of purity? When an environment is in order, the spirit is calm. Put your papers in order, make your bed, clean your environment, and then pray. God is going to do something awesome. He says to purge out the old leaven that you may be a new lump.
There are three levels of cleansing: the environment and body, the soul and emotions, and the spirit. You need to clean out anything that has caused you not to receive from God. I pray that you drop the load of pain that you are carrying. Let it go out of you now. Release all of your grudges and give them to Jesus. Release the person who hurt you so much that you think you can never forgive. I pray that today God will give you the grace to clean up your soul and your emotions. All those things that weigh on you kill your joy. Release your children to the Lord who sent them to you. Stop worrying about your spouse and your children. Release them to Jesus.
Cleanse, and allow the Lord to visit you. Clean out your outer man and your body, care for your health and your environment, mind your soul and your thoughts, and submit your emotions to the Holy Spirit. When you do this, your spirit man will be clean. Everything that has been oppressing it, externally and internally, will be cleansed and you will be ready to hear from God. When you do a cleansing externally and internally great things will happen.
“Unto the pure all things are pure . . . ,” Titus 1:15.
“Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God,” Matthew 5:8.
“ . . . whatsoever things are pure . . . think on these things,” Philippians 4:8. “ . . . keep thyself pure,” 1 Timothy 5:22.
“If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel of honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use and prepared unto every good work,” 2 Timothy 2:21.
“And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure,” 1 John 3:3.
I pray that purity will be your portion, and that the blessings of purity will manifest in your life in the name of Jesus.
When the Lord wanted to visit the children of Israel, He told Moses to tell them to clean up the camp. Clean up your environment, your soul, and your spirit man. Purify the air around you, that foul music, that tense music, that bad news transmission. Open the gates of your heart by purifying, so that the King of glory will come in.
Prayer Points:
Only the Holy Spirit has the ability to make us pure and He cannot come to you unless you have given your life to Jesus. Pray with me today and say, “Dear Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Saviour. Write my name in the book of life and fill me with your Holy Spirit. Bless me with the grace of purity that I will be among the pure to whom all is pure so that I will see God. Bless me, O Lord that I will be among those who have purged themselves and made themselves pure so that I will be ready for an honourable use to God.”
God is your Redeemer and He is alive! It does not matter what you have gone through or what you are going through now, Jesus is your Redeemer and He wants to visit you. Be pure in every thought and deed, so that all things will be pure to you.
Be pure, so that God will use you as a vessel of honour in Jesus’ name. Father, I pray that you will cause your children to value and appreciate the need for purity in their environment, their thoughts, their speech, and in what they hear, so that they will see you and experience your power, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
