“Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.”
From This Day I Will Bless You
Father God, give us the grace to continue worshipping you in spirit and in truth. And as we worship you, bless your people indeed. Deliver us from every curse that has been operating in our lives, in Jesus’ name.
People are drawn to the power of true love, as elusive as it might be. Beloved, God’s love for His children is even stronger, even more enticing. So much so, that God has proclaimed in His Word that He will bless His own.
God’s blessings do not depend on your circumstances because God’s love for us is eternal. He has pardoned our iniquity and passed by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage; He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy, Micah 7:18. We see this in the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, who died to redeem us. Indeed, God’s blessings do not depend on economic indicators or any other circumstance. As Haggai recounts: the vine, pomegranate, and olive trees had not brought forth fruit, but God declared that He would bless him from that day forth. Today things may look bleak, but stop looking around; nothing can hinder blessings from God. Even if a curse or any other form of incapacitation is oppressing you, the living God will deliver and bless you.
Let us pray: O Father God, your Word says that you delight in mercy; have mercy upon us. Pour down the blessings, the anointing, and the graces of your mercy upon your children.
Pardon our sins. Rebuke the devourer for our sake and do not destroy the fruit of our ground. Let our land be fruitful so that all the nations can witness it and call us blessed. Let the earth be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. Father God, be magnified in the lives of your children. You said we should bring all our tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in your house and we should prove whether you will not open unto us the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive, Malachi 3:10. Father, bless those who tithe in order to further your Kingdom. living God, let your Word work in our lives. Only you can give us these blessings because you have given us grace to fear your name and serve you.

This prayer of blessings will become real in your life as you act according to God’s will. If you have never given your life to Jesus, pray with me now, “Dear Lord Jesus, I want to come into the family of God. I confess and forsake my sins. Cleanse me from my sins and write my name in the book of life. Bless me with the born-again experience. Deliver me from my devourers so you may receive all the glory.”
Father God Almighty, have mercy upon your people and bless them according to your Word that says, “From this day, I will bless you.” Bless us anew in Jesus’ name. Amen.
