Scripture Reading: Amos 5: 4

Blessings of Seekers
O Lord Jesus, your name is above every other name. Let the life that is in the name of Jesus eliminate every fear of death and the oppression of the enemy in our lives. Give us the grace to seek you so that we may live and survive these difficult times in Jesus’ name.
What is life? Life is the absence of death. There are many people who are alive today, but without Jesus: this is not life. Physical life has an end; everyone dies. But spiritual life is valid because it is the Spirit of God that gives everlasting life. I pray that the Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead will dwell in you and quicken your mortal body that you may truly live.
“In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not,” John 1:4–5.
If you are alive in Christ, every ordination of death has been canceled. Unfortunately, many still fear death, and therefore operate under the oppression of the enemy. But the Word of God says, in Jesus is life. Only someone with eternal life can be called the beginning and the end. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega; the Lion of the tribe of Judah; the Bright and Morning Star; the King of kings; the Lord of lords; the Ancient of Days; the Rose of Sharon; the Lily of the Valley; the I Am that I Am; the Mighty One; the Saviour of our souls; and our Redeemer. He is alive and seated at the right hand of our Father Almighty making intercession for us. Certainly, if your life is in Jesus, there is no reason to fear death.
In addition to life, Jesus also possesses light. This light came from a source greater than power generators. This light comes from the glory of God. It shines in darkness though darkness can never comprehend it. We need that light.
Beloved, if you yearn for the life and light of Jesus, seek Him. The Lord says in Amos 5:4, “Seek ye me, and ye shall live.” When you seek God in the name of Jesus, you will stay alive and survive these evil days. When you seek Jesus, you will be filled with the power and presence of the Holy Spirit that gives life. Enter into that secret place where the Lord dwells and declare your love to Him today. When you resolve to live to declare the works of God, you have decided to embrace Jesus who has life and light. The Lord will make His blessings available to you when you seek Him.
“But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven: A land which the Lord thy God careth for: the eyes of the Lord thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year. And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full. Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them,” Deuteronomy 11:11–16.
Beloved, seek Him and walk into the realm of abundance, peace, and prosperity. Seek the Lord and live, brethren; live in spiritual, physical, emotional, circumstantial, and financial prosperity.
Prayer Points:
If you have never given your life to Jesus, seek the Lord by praying, “Dear Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you. I confess and forsake my sins. Cleanse me from my sins with your blood. Write my name in the book of life. Give me the grace to daily seek you, dwell in your secret place, work with you, and worship you in spirit and truth. O Lord, bless me with all that you promise in Deuteronomy 11 as I walk into this land of seeking you daily.”
O Holy Father, I pray that in your mercy, you deliver us from the paralysis of these times. Give us the grace to seek you and live. Give us a new light; the light of your glory that shines in darkness but is not understood by darkness. We pray this in the name that is above every name, the name of Jesus. Amen.
