Deliverance from the Wicked and Terrible
Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 15
“And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible,” Jeremiah 15:21.
Deliverance from the Wicked and Terrible
Father, we thank you for the blood of Jesus that sets us free. We thank you for the work of the blood of the Lamb of God. Lord we thank you because we can send the blood of the Lamb to the ruler of the land, to the place of our judgments, to the wicked persecutors, and to everywhere difficult matters arise.
Father we thank you for the precious Lamb of God. Blessed be God forever.
In Jeremiah 15 we see the redemptive work the Lord is still doing. “O Lord, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke. Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts. I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation. Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, and as waters that fail?”, Jeremiah 15:15–18.
The Lord is still doing a redemptive work, for this is the time of the year that is looking for whom and what to swallow. Pray with me today, “Lord God Almighty, this year will not consume me. This year will not prevail against me, for the Lord is with me as a fenced brazen wall. Let none who fight against me prevail because you save and deliver me. Deliver me, O Lord, from the hand of the wicked and redeem me from the hand of the terrible.”
In our innocence and ignorance, we are often unaware of the terrible who encompass us, but God knows them because He knows the heart afar off. That is why He has given His word of deliverance to those who need it in this season. “Therefore thus saith the Lord, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them. And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brazen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the Lord,” verses 19 and 20.
Go into this season with a great consciousness of the presence of God for He says He will save and deliver you. And as today’s scripture reading says, He will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked and out of the hand of the terrible.
Lord you know the wicked operating in our lives now; you know the terrible operating in our lives now, and I pray, God Almighty, that in the name of Jesus you deliver your people out of their hands.
Wicked and terrible are not necessarily human beings. Wicked and terrible may be a situation, circumstance, or environment, or possibly an experience. Whether you are in a wicked environment or situation dealing with wicked people, or you are in a terrible situation dealing with terrible people, you need deliverance. God has you covered. He will redeem you in Jesus’ name. That is what His Word says and His Word does not change.
But there is a condition. The Lord says, “If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: if thou will take the precious from the vile…,” verse 19. If you do these things, He says you will be as His mouth. Separate yourself from the vile thing, even if it is in your family. You are a new creature; you are a child of God, so separate yourself. When you separate yourself, the purity and light of God will manifest through you and you will speak the Word of God to the world. They will see your purity, they will see that you are undefiled, they will see in you the light of God. You will become as His mouth. They will ask questions and you will speak the answers of God to them. In addition, God will be with thee as “a fenced brazen wall: and they shall fight against thee: but they shall not prevail,” verse 20; for He is there to save you and to deliver you. May this be your portion in this season.
Prayer Points:
But the first way to come out of the vile is to come out of darkness and come into His light. Receive salvation if you are not born again. Pray along with me now, “Dear Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you. Write my name in the book of life.
Deliver me as the precious one from my vile situations and cause me to experience your protection against the wicked and terrible forever in Jesus’ name.”
