Keep Far From a False Matter
The surest way to keep oneself far from a false matter is to stay engrossed in truth all the time. Truth is that which agrees with final reality. The foundation of truth is the Word of God. The Lord says His Word, the Bible, is truth, and it stands the test of time. His Word abides forever and it does not change. It is reliable. We need to weigh every action and association against the standard of Scripture in order to succeed in staying far away from a false matter. The dangers of operating in falsehood are too numerous to count. However, it is necessary to note that God hates falsehood and it leads to destruction and hell. To participate consciously in falsehood is unchristian. Doing so grieves the Holy Spirit and keeps Him, our Guide and Comforter, far from us. And without His guidance, of course, we derail from our prepared path in life.
Ananias and Sapphira lied to Peter and the Holy Spirit and dropped dead. Falsehood is very dangerous and we need to examine our lives and make amends. God is merciful. He will forgive our trespasses, but we cannot continue in sin and expect grace to abound. May God give us the grace to stand for truth and walk in the light of His Word and enjoy the benefits of embracing truth. Standing for truth sanctifies, emboldens, empowers, and blesses. Truth will give you a name and a praise and you will become a signet of the living God. Keep far from a false matter; embrace God’s truth and He will grant you eternal life.
The Lord God Almighty commands us to keep far from a false matter. Examine your location. Where are you right now? Are you near any falsehood? Is your home centered in truth? Does the blood of Jesus Christ, who is the Truth, cover you? What about your church, the place were you fellowship and worship God? Is it standing in truth? Is your workplace or your business based on truth? Are your friends in truth? Are they truthful? Are you personally truthful? The Bible enjoins you according to the Word of God to keep far from a false matter. Pray for a revelation of truth in your life by asking God to reveal to you every lie in your life.
It is refreshing to know that there is nothing the enemy does against the children of God that will not be made manifest. As soon as Light (Jesus) comes in, darkness disappears and all things are made manifest. The secret activities and conspiracies instigated against the saints by the enemy are no secret to our Father God, who is Almighty and all-knowing.
God sees everything and hears everything spoken. He is the silent listener to every conversation or utterance in secret or in public. The good news is that the plan of the enemy shall not stand neither shall it come to pass, Isaiah 7:7.
The plans of the enemies of Israel were revealed to Elisha, who was able to warn Israel and they prevailed. The plan of a palace coup against Ahasuerus was revealed and reported by Mordecai and the king was saved. The plan of the devil to make sin so that man would face condemnation and spend eternity in hell was exposed and eliminated by salvation through Jesus our Lord. “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life,” John 3:15. Beloved, no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper; no tongue that is raised shall stand, for God has said that nothing is secret.
Every secret plan against your progress shall be exposed, condemned, and incapacitated as you walk with God as His child by accepting Jesus as your personal Saviour. Receive ministration and counsel by the Holy Spirit of God. Do not fear; nothing is secret; so it is wise to keep far from false matters so that God’s protection will be perpetual in your life.
Prayer Points:
Pray that God will reveal to you all the secrets concerning your life, all the secret works of the enemy, and how the Lord has delivered you from every evil work and plan. Pray that truth will be the watchword in your home, your workplace, and your church. Ask God to cleanse away every stain of falsehood and that the Lord will keep you permanently far from all falsehood.
Thank Him for all the battles He has fought and won on your behalf without your knowledge. Pray that He continues His loving kindness in your life, that He would bless you with the gift of revelation. Command divine spiritual blindness upon all who monitor your life, who instigate evil in your life.
Command, in the all-powerful name of Jesus, divine amnesty upon all the memory of the enemy and his agents and all the information about you they have stored. Cover your name with the blood of Jesus and decree that no false matter will come near you and yours. Amen.
