“From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.”
Divine Covering
I pray that you will have the covering of the Lord Jesus Christ such that from now on no man can trouble you. Let no officer, no relative, no workplace force or system trouble you, for you bear in your body the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ. What are these marks? They are the marks of the earnest of the Spirit of God in you. Are you conscious of the presence of the Spirit in you? Then let no man trouble you. In order to be able to say that confidently, and have it work for you, you must bear in your body, like Paul, the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit. When you have the Spirit of God, then the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22–23 will manifest in your life.
The fruit of the Spirit manifests love in different ways. Do you have the love of God, “agape” love in you? “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts,” Galatians 5:22–24. Therefore, if the Spirit of Christ is in you, then you have the marks of the Lord Jesus in you. If the Spirit of Christ is in you, you need to manifest the gifts of the Holy Spirit. For when the Holy Spirit resides in you, He comes in one hand with the fruit and in the other hand with the gifts. Is the fruit of the Holy Spirit manifesting in you? Do you have the gifts of the Holy Spirit operating in you? The fruit is one fruit that brings out these nine dimensions; the gifts are diverse, as found in 1 Corinthians 12: 7-11.
Do you know your gifts? Are you using them for the glory of God? If you have the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in you, then you can say truthfully that you bear in your body the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ as Paul did. If you are one of these people, declare “Henceforth, let no man trouble me for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.”
Prayer Points:
Today, I ask in Jesus’ name that henceforth let no sickness trouble your people for we bear the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ and by His stripes we are healed. I pray in the name of Jesus that no man, no sickness, no sorrow, no lack, no tragedy, no system, no oppressor, no witchcraft, no evil machination, no children, no family, nothing should trouble me for I bear on my body the mark of the Lord Jesus Christ.
But if you do not have His Spirit, you are not His own. You can only have His Spirit when you are born again. If you are not born again, say, “Dear Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Write my name in the book of life and put your mark on me so that I can also say like Paul, “ henceforth let no man trouble me for I bear on my body the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ.” May this be my portion in Jesus’ name.” Amen.
