Deliverance from Foundational Tares
Scripture Reading: Matthew 13:24–30
“So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn,” Matthew 13:27–30.
Deliverance from Foundational Tares
Father God Almighty, in your mercy let the shed blood of Jesus flush out the tares from the foundation of the lives of your children.
The challenges we face as adults are often rooted in childhood experiences that have formed our foundation. These experiences continue to live with us as memories as we grow up, and they often affect our adulthood negatively. I liken such experiences to the tares spoken of in the book of Matthew:
“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also,” Matthew 13:24– 26.
God only sows good seed: you are meant to be wonderful; a wonder unto many. But challenges that spring forth stop that from being a reality. If you examine your life and realize that there seems to be an embargo on your progress, remember that God is not the author of failure. In fact, Jesus Christ has redeemed us from any curse: “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith,” Galatians 3:13–14.
Your foundational tares may be caused by family curses or recurrent tragedies that have been programmed into your life, but there is deliverance in Jesus Christ. God has good plans for you according to His Word in Jeremiah 29:11 and His Word cannot be made void. Let us pray according to the Word, so that your true nature as God intended will become manifest.
Prayer Points:
Father God Almighty, the siege of the enemy must end today. We pray that the Word of the living God and the prayer of faith will remove all the tares the enemy has sown in the foundation of our lives. Uproot every tare that you have not planted in our soul. I pray that you deliver us all from the bondage of every tare of fear, for your Word in Hebrews 2:15 says that you deliver all who through fear were subject to bondage all their lifetime. Father God, let every tare that the devil has sown in the body, soul, spirit, circumstance, or finances be consumed by the fire of the Holy Spirit.
We command that every enemy be paralyzed now; that the rod of the wicked risen up against us be rendered impotent. Let every inherited satanic deposit be flushed out by the blood of Jesus. Let the stronghold of every spirit of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, every spirit of Egypt, every spirit warring against us be smashed to pieces in the name of Jesus. Let the foundational tares be uprooted, burnt to ashes, and blown far away by the wind of the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus, close every gateway open to the enemy by faulty foundation. I pour the blood of Jesus upon the foundation of all the children of God. Father, thank you for salvation; for the day of harvest has come. Amen.
